This week I have been joined by track rider for Ireland, Emily Kay.
Emily and I caught up ahead of the final 2 rounds of the Track Champions League in London to talk about her life in cycling so far.
Emily grew up in the North East of England and has been riding and racing bikes since the age of 5. Emily has represented England and Great Britain at National Championships, World Cups, European Championships, World Championships and a Commonwealth Games.
We chat about the pressures of cycling and how following a break from the sport in 2019 Emily switched her allegiance to Ireland and has since represented her nation at a number of major events including the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
